Victoria Findlay Wolfe
Victoria is a lifelong maker, exploring various artistic mediums from painting to pottery. Sewing was instilled in her from a young age by her parents, but it was her grandmother's vibrant polyester double knit quilts that left a lasting impression. With a background in Fine Arts and a passion for color, Victoria found her calling in quilting, where she could push colors around to achieve desired effects. The tactile nature of quilts and the joy of designing, creating, and sharing them fuel her exploration of color and design.
Victoria's work encompasses traditional, modern, and art quilting styles, bridging the gap between fine art and quilting. She has produced a remarkable body of work, including over 70 Double Wedding Ring quilts, and authored four books. Additionally, she designs fabric, has her own template and pattern line, and curates Aurifil thread collections. Her quilts have gained international recognition, exhibited in museums worldwide and showcased in prestigious quilt festivals. Alongside her quilting pursuits, Victoria treasures her roles as a mother and wife.
