Martha Negley

For over 40 years, I've been painting decorative patterns. After art school, I started as a colorist for a textile company in New York. Later, I worked for a greeting card company in the Midwest and freelanced for fabric and wallpaper companies. In 1994, I started my own design company. Meeting Kaffe Fasset and Liza Prior Lucy led to working with Westminster Fabrics. After a break, I'm now painting for FreeSpirit Fabrics. I reside in Kansas City, enjoying activities like painting, gardening, baking, and volunteer work, while caring for my wire fox terrier.
