Anne Keenan Higgins

Anne Keenan Higgins, hailing from Michigan, inherited her creative genes from her parents who met in art school. After graduating from the Penny Stamps School of Art & Design at the University of Michigan, she embarked on a career as an art director in Detroit's advertising agencies. Later, in California, she worked for renowned cartoonist Cathy Guisewite and Papyrus corporate, honing her distinctive whimsical style. Anne now licenses her artwork to various industries, including greeting cards, gifts, fabrics, and book publishing. Alongside her artistic endeavors, she has authored and illustrated three books. Anne currently resides in Detroit, Michigan, with her partner, Jason, and enjoys gardening, reading, and even trapeze flying in her free time.
